As you might have gathered by now, I’m a writer who has been known to freelance occasionally (and also likes to dabble in illustration).
For preference, I tend towards the gentle, playful, and imaginative, but in the garden of words I know a spade from a golden goose and can turn my hand to copywriting, editing, and the ins and outs of grammar when the need calls for it.
In a world that’s gotten a bit too unreal for comfort, I like to bring things back to earth. (Operating on the basic assumption that anything really real starts inside a person – feeling, imagination, an idea – and real is what people desperately want again.)
